VOICE CLONING AI · ZERO-SHOT

AI Voice Cloning

Upload or record a short clip, type a line and generate it once you sign in. A clone reads new text in your timbre.

Reference voice

  • Use clear, single-speaker audio without background music
  • Try about 10 seconds of natural speech
  • Speak naturally at your usual pace
  • Your reference is uploaded privately, only to generate your cloned voice
0/500
Only clone voices you own or are authorized to use. Sign in to generate; credits are charged by text length and refunded if generation fails.

01 / REFERENCE CLIP

Zero-shot voice cloning

Zero-shot voice cloning skips hours of model training. A clean clip of roughly 10 to 30 seconds is usually enough to learn your timbre and the rhythm of your speech.

  • Upload a file or record in the browser
  • Usually 10 to 30 seconds of speech
  • Nothing to download or install
02 / CROSS-LANGUAGE

One voice, more languages

A voice clone captures timbre, not a language. With a multilingual model, a clone made from Mandarin speech can usually read English and other languages too.

  • Record in one language, read in another
  • Same timbre, though the accent may shift
  • Made for localized videos and lessons

03 / CONSENT FIRST

Clone voices with consent

Voice cloning is only for your own voice or a voice you have written permission to use. Using a clone to impersonate, defraud or mislead listeners breaks our terms.

  • Your own voice or written permission
  • No celebrity or public figure voices
  • Impersonation and fraud break the terms
USE CASES

What you can do with a voice clone

One clean clip lets your voice go wherever your content needs it. Here are six common ways.

Video voiceovers

Fix a line in the script and regenerate instead of re-recording. Tutorials, explainers and talking-head videos keep your own voice.

Audiobooks

Narrate a whole book in your own voice without weeks in a booth, and keep the same timbre from the first chapter to the last.

Courses and training

Teachers and trainers can update lesson narration as the content changes, while students still hear the familiar voice they know.

Video localization

Dub a video into other languages in the same timbre, so viewers abroad still hear you rather than a stranger reading your words.

Voice banking

People facing an illness that may affect their speech can preserve their voice early and keep talking to family in a voice that is theirs.

Podcast fixes

Patch a misread line, add a sponsor read or record a quick correction without setting up the mic again for a single sentence.

COMPARE

Voice cloning, preset TTS or a voice actor?

Each has its place. Pick a voice clone when it must sound like you, and a preset voice when any good voice will do.

RECORDING TIPS

6 tips for a better reference clip

How close a voice clone sounds depends mostly on the reference clip. Check these six things before you record.

  1. 01

    Pick a quiet room

Turn off fans and air conditioning and close the window. The quieter the background, the cleaner the cloned voice.

  2. 02

    Keep it to one speaker

No music, TV or other people talking. Several voices in one clip make it hard for the model to tell whose voice to learn.

  3. 03

    Hold a steady distance

Stay about a hand's width from the mic. Too close causes pops, and too far lets room echo creep into the recording.

  4. 04

Speak the way you usually do

Read as if chatting with a friend. Do not force a deeper voice or stretch your words, or the clone will copy that too.

  5. 05

Aim for 10 to 30 seconds

Say a few complete sentences with few long pauses. Too short leaves little to learn, and longer is not always better.

  6. 06

    Play it back once

Listen back before you use it. If the volume jumps around or the loud parts crackle, move the mic and record again.

FAQ

AI voice cloning FAQ

What to know before you clone your voice.

What is AI voice cloning?+

AI voice cloning, often called voice cloning AI, lets a model learn a person's timbre, tone and rhythm from a short recording, then read new text in that voice. Once a voice is cloned, changing a script no longer means recording it again.

Can I clone my voice online right now?+

Yes. Sign in, upload or record a clean clip of your own voice, tick the consent box and type up to 500 characters, then generate, play and download the result. The clip is uploaded for generation. The three voice samples on this page are fixed examples, not clones of your clip.

How much audio does voice cloning need?+

Zero-shot voice cloning typically needs roughly 10 to 30 seconds of clean speech. A cleaner clip matters more than a longer one: a quiet room, a single speaker and no background music bring the clone closer to the real voice.

Is there free voice cloning?+

Uploading or recording a clip and typing your text are free. Generating the cloned audio uses credits after you sign in: 1 credit per 20 characters, spaces free, 1 credit minimum. Credits come from the plans and packs on the pricing page, and failed runs are refunded.

Can I clone someone else's voice or a celebrity?+

No. You may only clone your own voice or a voice you have written permission to use, and celebrity voices are not allowed. Cloning someone without consent to impersonate them, commit fraud or mislead people breaks our terms and may be illegal.

Can a voice clone speak other languages?+

Usually, yes. A clone captures timbre rather than a single language, so a multilingual model can read English and other languages in the same voice. Accent and rhythm may differ slightly from a native speaker, so preview it before you publish.

Can I use a cloned voice commercially?+

Commercial use follows the terms of the plan you buy. The voice must be your own or one you have written permission to use, and even with your own voice, never use it to impersonate someone else or mislead listeners.

How is voice cloning different from text to speech?+

Text to speech reads your words with a preset voice from a library, ready the moment you pick it. Voice cloning first copies a voice you provide, then reads with it. Choose a voice clone when the content should sound like you; a preset voice suits everything else.
